<>< Fish Flingers Guide + 100K+ Fishing Exp Per Hour ><>

NVM not going to make a guide as i found "2flingfish" on the forums, and in the 1st few pages of the post, describes EVERYTHING about fish flingers.

Reading their guide will help you get medals, tokens, and xp.

It's VERY in depth and is just something fun to do as i think it's the best fishing xp in the game currently

along with that you can get an outfit that gives a 5% exp boost when fishing!​

Here is a picture guide to "Fast Casting" for beginners who don't want to exactly follow along with how they explained it in the forum post:

You begin to cast your rod out:


Then it's going to stay flat and bob up and down for about 2 seconds


Then AS SOON as you notice your fish count go up one (or you can look at the rod and it will sort of pull into the ground:



Then quickly hit the "Cast" button again:


Using this fast cast meathod, you can catch upwards of 120-140 fish PER GAME.

Keep in mind 4 fish = 1 ticket


SOMTIMES YOU WILL GET A MESSAGE SAYING THIS:


Catching ******** kind of messes up fast casting so just re click cast again and continue fast casting.

Read below for a walk-through on how to play F.F. while fishing for amazing xp per hour.​

When doing fish flingers for EXP (you should also do this even if you are going for tokens):

INVENTORY SETUP:


Hot-Bar Setup (to power drop fish):


With this hot-bar setup have your keys bound to "A" "S" "D" "F" and bind a trout to "A" and "D" and bind a salmon to "S" and "F" and you will be able to drop all the fish very quickly.

1. Start fly fishing at barbarian village with "Decorated Fishing Urns" in your inventory.

2. When you notice the fishermen say that there is 1 minute until the game starts.

3. Enter fish flingers, and right click the fishermen behind the table and click "Give hint" and type that out to the fc.
Ex: there are salmon on the docs, and can spot metal a mile away so keep that in mind when choosing your hook" so you would say "/salmon/docs/non metal hook" and they will use that for the compile [2flingfish]

4. Wait for the 100% call list for the doc, and fish then depending on what you want to do go from there.
(what i mean by that is if you are going for medals you will want to wait for all the 100% calls so you can get the medal for 100%-ing all 6 tackles. If you are going for XP just wait for the 100% doc call, and fish there until the end of the game or the docs get depleted)

5. After the game finishes leave asap, and fish until you see that there is 1 minute until the game starts again.

6. Repeat​

Medals: [needed to get tackle boxes]

-Catch 3 ******** = 1 medal
-6 Assists = 1 medal
-3/6 100% combos = 1 medal
-6/6 100% combos = 1 medal

When going for medals the best way to do that is start out fishing at the docs, find out what the combo for the doc is and get your 6 assists.

Then move on to getting your 6/6 100% combos, then at the last location (if your going from the doc, to the lake, to the river, then to the beach, your last spot should be the beach) then fast cast at the beach but be sure to WATCH your CHAT BOX for when it says you have snagged a ********, because if you click cast (while fast casting) it'll discard the ******** and not count towards catching a ********.

Things that will help you to gain more XP while fishing:

Call of the sea aura:


- This aura will cost 5k loyalty points (1st tier)
- Lasts 1 hour (Takes 3 hours to recharge)
- Provides a 3% faster catch rate (stacks with familiars level bonus)


Decorated Fishing Urn:


- The decorated fishing urn can be purchased from the GE short of 1k GP each.
- You need 76 crafting to make them and to teleport them when they are full
- The urn gives 1,900 fishing exp PER urn.
- You can have someone assist you to teleport the urns, and you still gain the xp.
- You need 1 water rune per fishing urn to charge them.

S.o.F:

Pendant of fishing/Prized pendant of fishing:

-These amulets give X amount of xp for so much xp and can be won from the S.o.F




Summoning:
Helps you catch more fish faster, with a result of more fishing exp.

Granite Crab



-Fishing boost +1 [Req summon level: 16]


Ibis



-Fishing boost +3 [Req summon level: 56]

Granite Lobster



-Fishing boost +4 [Req summon level: 74]

Thanks heaps, it doesn't seem like much but on the road to 99 4% boost is pretty good.

 

its a 5% boost and i think my friend did the math and having the full set saves 1m xp from 1-99 so it's worth it, since 1m xp takes quite a while.

But if you save up and use fish flinger tickets constantly you get close to 100k xp per hour

 

Ignoring the outfit, Fish Flingers is still one of the best methods of training..

Theoretically 120-125k xp/hour if you enter at the correct time and do not waste time in the lobby.

Yeah doing FF while fly fishing in-between games with some of the items i have listed in the OP can really gain you a TON of xp per hour.

Brilliant guide, short and too the point. Please could you give me est time for the outfit?

 

Depending on how much you play each day, it'll only take a mater of a few days as long as you do the power fish method so you can get as many tokens per game as you can.

also make sure you fly fish in-between lobby times so you have the chance to get more entry tickets while fishing.

and go back into the lobby [after fly fishing] when the fish master guy says there is 1 minute left, then enter, get hint and give it to the FC.
