Pardon Request- s0n

The original version of this thread was posted in the Dispute section after I received a temp ban for evading. As I'm unsure whether this post would be a dispute or request for a pardon, I'm posting it here as well. I hope this does not cause inconvenience.

Hello, my username is s0n and I was quite recently banned for ban evasion. I did previously have one account some time ago, named Mr Tankerz, which was banned for a chargeback on Paypal because my computer was compromised. Unfortunately I do not have proof for this, and after my computer was safe again I did try to e-mail the person who was charged back to no avail.

I completely understand that my old Sythe account was banned, but I'd like the chance to start over new. I've purchased a new laptop, shifted houses (can be verified by the change in IP between then and now), and made a new Paypal account.
Despite my ban on Sythe I've been a regular customer of Kevin001- I consider him my dealer and I've purchased GP on many occasions (you may consult him asking about my MSN address, which is [email protected], as well as the Paypal account I paid with).

The point in mentioning this is to show that I'm an honest member. I hope the information I've provided is significant enough to show you so, and if not I'd be humbled if you could work with me to find a way to prove so.

If possible, I'd like to remove any association of this account with Mr Tankerz; it was an event far in the past, so I can't get the original account unbanned, but I'd still like to start using Sythe again and build a reputation of respect.

 

When you say your computer was compromised, did you mean that someone other than you sent the payment, or someone other than you filed the chargeback?

In any case, you won't be getting a new sythe account. Either your old one will get unbanned or it won't

 

I made the payment and the chargeback was filed by someone else.

What happened was that when I joined a new RS private server and downloaded the cache for the webclient, the cache contained a keylogger. Hence for the few weeks that I played the server all of my information for my email, Paypal, Runescape account, and even my Facebook account was obtained by someone else.

Upon being hacked, I just quit. I didn't even know how to re-access my Paypal account and even now I still wouldn't be able to recover it.

 

I don't really buy the story about your account being compromised. Why would a hacker waste any time charging back a payment? And even if he had, you could have explained yourself at the time, offered proof, and even refunded the person who was charged back.

No support from me unless you can prove your story, sorry.

 

Sorry for making multiple threads in this section to respond; I seem to have not found any other option as making an account here would be evading. I've tried to add Zerkerfist and Video on MSN but either they haven't accepted my requests or there's an issue on my side since I'm using eBuddy.

I'm not the hacker so I can't say conclusively why he did it, but he wasn't a hacker on a large scale; he must have bothered charging back because it was a large amount of GP for both me and him; I paid a hundred dollars or so for almost 150m RSGP, and I suppose as the owner of a small private server with the intention of hacking that meant a lot for him.

Furthermore:
1) when I saw the message that I was banned on Sythe it frankly didn't occur to me to clear my cache, go incognito, or anything like that to post on the site. I didn't think through the situation and gave up on Sythe immediately after I was banned. It was a lapse in judgment.
2) I sent the vendor an email to get in touch with him but he didn't respond. I couldn't refund him because I didn't have access to the Paypal account and I still don't. It was unverified and meant for a small amount of payments, just for me to buy some RSGP.

I understand that it may be hard for you to accept my story as I can't provide proof, but that's why I'm asking for a pardon, for you to believe me. My approach to the situation wasn't at all appropriate at the time, but I'm not inherently a bad person and I would hate for a silly mistake in the past to hinder my use of Sythe presently and in the future.
